Marty Andersen

Instructor Marty Andersen brings almost five decades of martial arts experience to the
mats. In that time, he has seen and done it all: wrestling, taekwondo, boxing, hapkido,
MMA, and, of course, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In fact, Marty was instrumental in lobbying the
State of Nebraska to finally legalize MMA in 2006. From a young age, he learned how to
defend himself against others, channeling the fighting tactics of his idol, Bruce Lee.
For more than twenty years, Marty has guided students in meeting their own martial arts
goals. Marty is attuned to students' needs and ensures they are comfortable and
confident during training.
And for Marty, martial arts means family: not only are all students welcomed in to the
Dynasty BJJ family, but both Marty’s daughter and son are carrying on the martial arts
family tradition as instructors at Dynasty.
